Lessons learned...

Don't ever ever cross my boundaries again!!!!! I have my limits too...when i give too much 'face' and 'space', people start terrorizing my boundaries...All these while, i was being 'nice' to everybody...or at least..that was the impressions given..

But today..u know the real me, huh!!! when i show my true colors!!! Yezz....really colourful and not many people liked it!!!!

So, people.... dont you dare crossing my boundaries!!!!

Meeting An Old Friend..after 28 years..

....only to find out that she is suffering from Breast Cancer- stage 2. I had a shock of my life when i learnt that.

We met at the ward - on a hospital bed, instead of at a cozy restaurant, catching up our 'lost' years... She looked so calm and composed..Of course, we couldn't stop shedding out tears for awhile, but we finally came to terms with it.

She is one tough lady..a different person i used to know 28 years ago. She has grown into a matured person...with a strong personality..which i envy.

We talked for a good one hour. Most of the time I only listened to her. She talked about the past..us being room-mates during MRSM days..she really treasured those moments.

She was supposed to go thru a 'chemo' session - the first time after the 'lump' was removed in December. She didnt want to go thru it but the doc suggested she had one.

I left the ward with a very heavy heart.
The next day I text her asking how her 'chemo' session went..and I had tears in my eyes when i read her reply..

."Wkmslm. It strtd 4.30 ystday, endd at 11pm. D efct was bad, but i'l surv. On my way home now. Tq vr much for d mngful moment we had d other day. "

Pick up that "F*C*KING* goddamn phone please!!!! idiot!!!

first of all...mind my language dear readers!!!!!

I was so annoyed with people who don't have courtesy to pick the stupid goddamn phone when i called. This happened to me so often...and it's worse when it came from that level of rank..
i am mad because i, myself, would always attend to any sort of calls or sms'es from any creatures on earth whenever i was on leave...even when i was on hospital bed..Yess!!!! Readers...I do that, okay...if u don't believe me, u can always check with my staff in my department..My staff do that too without being told because that is the standard that i have set with them..

Most of the times, the calls just to get some confirmation on certain things..and sometimes, a simple YES or NO from us can make a lot of things get done in the office even in our absence. Have that courtesy, please people...Of course, my staff would not easily make that calls unless they are very urgent..they also respect my privacy in a lot of ways..That's why when there was a call from office on my off day, I would know it must be something urgent..

But some people don't have that courtesy...probably not taught in university in those days..but you can always learn them somewhere else..through your experience...that is, if you have the opportunities of working elsewhere other than this place...

As for me...I really appreciate my 6 years of working experience in audit firm..4 years in commercial lines before i finally landed here 10 years ago...That was really a training platform for me...I may not be that perfect, but at least I do have some courtesies when dealing with people around me especially at work place..

Feeling a bit uneasy...

Today is sunday...the last day of the chinese new year holiday..feeling a bit drowsy...the weather doesn't help much...

The weekly maid turned up today, but it was not the same one last week..it was a new maid..adoiiii..which means i have to train and supervise closely since she is new to my house..

The one that came last few weeks went to KL for shopping..apparently she didn't come back for the weekend..enjoying herself there after getting her pay, i guess..and i am suffering here with the new maid...happened to be her friend.

Was kind of tired today...she was not as good as the other one..literally couching and monitoring..adoi...what to do...have to be patient and make sure my RM80 per week is worth the job done.

It is now 6 pm...my hubby and my son went out for haircut..both need one..badly..The two girls are upstairs..they need privacy..so, let them have it.

Yesterday, my cousin just lost her son..aged 7 years old..same age as my son..it was a sad day for her..we were there for the funeral..took my kids along..so that they experience some facts of life..that every living creatures would die..that everybody on earth would finally gets his/her call when the time comes...that nothing lasts forever...that we have to prepare ourselves before that final call is made on us..Alfatihah to Adam Muqrish...you would definitely be remembered and sadly missed by all of us..especially your parents, brother and sister..

Tomorrow and the rest of the weeks would be a hectic one for me..a lot of things were pending at work as people had a habit of putting things off until the CNY...they dont realize how bad it is going to be...people took their days off as if they were the ones celebrating CNY..funny things were..even those celebrating the festival were still around..

Huh...don't feel like going to work..but hey!!!! i gotta be kidding!!!

Anyway...gotta go for now...just remembered that i need to do some pick ups at the laundrymat..

Will publish a post on this stupid laundrymat later...another 'hampeh' service laundry mat in town!!!
